This site is dedicated to the memory of Victor Richards.
Victor Richards was born in Kingston, Jamaica on May 23, 1935. He passed away on May 28, 2011 after a struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He is much loved and will always be remembered by his friends and family. Although gone in the flesh, he is alive in spirit and we rejoice in knowing that he is experiencing peace and joy everlasting.
"The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21)

Thoughts
It is said that one is measured by those that we leave behind... I cannot begin to speak of the legacy which Mr. Richards has left. I have had an amazing privilege in getting to know he and Mrs Richards. As time has progressed and the relationships within his family have developed one is hard pressed to find a more fitting tribute than that which he has left behind. He was a hard working, consistent man who was the head of an extraordinary family. While he is gone, he is never to be forgotten. His legacy is a strong, powerful and wonderful one.

It was our privilege to get to know Victor Richards as the father of our daughter-in-law, Sharon. We will never forget the conversations we had about the Bible, boxing, Jamaica and his family. He enjoyed singing and we loved to hear him sing.
We know his spirit has returned to his Creator.
May all of the Richards family, hold fast to the
memories they have of him.

"Mr. Richards" as I called him was not only an excellent Father-in-Law he was a wonderful Grandfather to our daughter Ashley and an incredible role model. His passion for his work and family was unmatched. It has been a true blessing to have known him. May God continue to watch over him in heaven and provide continued strength to my wife Sharon and the other members of the Richards family.
